November 8, 2009 Bangladesh & Bhutan have rehabilitated a two-sided trade contract to step up relationships & discussed possibility of a road link connecting the 2 states through contiguous India.
“Achievement in all these places & the trade agreement is a first step that will without doubt result in the proportionate increase of our states. This will importantly increase the financial activities in Bhutan & Bangladesh,” told Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina later than the rehabilitated bilateral trade agreement was approved.
The agreement was yesterday signed by Bangladeshi Commerce Minister & Bhutan Economic Affairs Minister in attendance of Hasina & Hasina Bhutanese counterpart Jigmi, nationalized every day Kuensel reported.
Hasina, on a 4 day trip to Bhutan since Friday, & Jigmi Y Thinley also talk about the possibility of a road link between the 2 states via India.
