“He didn’t want to sing with any another feminine singer but me. They presented me songs from Bobby, I had at 1st for the reason that Raj Kapoor & I had been in a disagreement over royals of songs. They told if I didn’t sing, he would leave the movie overall. It was a large film & I didn’t desire to lose them. I decided but just after Raj Kapoor had told yes to the royals,” told Lata Mangeshkar.
