Dusshera- The name of famous festival of Hinduism. In this day God Rama Win on Lankeshwar  king Ravan. Due to this day is called ‘Vijayadashmi’. In all over India people celebrate Dusshera in different ways.

Before the Dasera people celebrate Ramlila & worship Durga Pooja till 9 days. In Ramlila show the whole thing about God Ram & Ravan. On the Dasara day effigies of Ravan, Kumbhkaran  & Meghnat burnt in evening. Children curiously await the Rawan Dahan. People wish each other friends & relatives by SMS, E mail, Cards etc. In some houses people Celebrate ‘Dusshera Tika’. After 20 days of Dusshera is hindu’s most important festival ‘Diwali’ is celebrated.

A second story joint with this that Goddess Durga kill Mahishashur on that day. So in east India Bangali celebrate that day due to Maa Durga win on Devil Mahishashur. Both story show the win on badness of goodness.

Dussehra

It is a popular celebration celebrated by Hindus all over India, although with many names. It is too known as Vijayadashmi (’Vijay’ sense ‘victory’ & ‘Dashmi meaning ‘10^th day), as it is believed to it was on this day that Lord Rama destroyed the devil-king, Ravana & rescued his kidnaped wife – Sita. In other words, it means the victory of fine over demon. The famous victory is reenacted to the day. In the northern branch of India, big effigies of Ravana, his massive brother Kumbhkarna & son Meghnath are located in huge open grounds. firecracker & crackers are located in the effigies.

Aa Gya Pawan Dusshera

Phir Hume Sandesh Dene,
Aa Gya Pawan Dusshera

Tum Sankaton ka ho ghanera
Ho na aakul man ye mera
Sankato me tam chatenge
Hoga phir sundar savera
Dharya ka tu le sahara!

Dwesh kitna bhi ho gehra
Ho na kalushit man ye tera
Phir ye tute dil milenge
hoga jab premi chitera
Ban shami ka pat pyara!

Satya ho jitna pratarit
Par na ho sakta parajit
Roop uska aur nikhra
Janta hai vishwa sara
Ban vijaya swarnim sitara!

This Dussehra, may you be blessed with good fortune
As long as Ganeshji’s trunk
Wealth and prosperity as big as his stomach
Happiness as sweet as his ladoos
And may your trouble be as small as his mouse

It was today that good won victory over bad
May this day clear all hurdels of your life and start new era of well-being
