Lal Bahadur Shastri

Lal Bahadur Shastri Born in 2^nd October, 1904.He was elected third prime minister of India on 11^th January 1966.He was a significant person in the Indian independence progress.

Sharada Prasad and Ramdulari Devi were his parents. Shastriji father was a school teacher. Shastru ji father was died ,when shastri ji was only 1 & half year.

 Lal Bahadur Shastri ji was known for integrity and humbleness. Shastri Ji  was the first person in India to be  awarded the “Bharat Ratna ”. His memorial “Vijay Ghat” was built for him in Delhi.

Lal Bahadur  “Shashtri National Academy of Administration “is  after his name , started functioning at “Mussoorie” from 1959. LBSNAA is the apex research & training Institute on public administration & Public policy.
