Joint Management Entrance Test : is the course of admission to the post Graduate  degree in Management.It is 2 Year Full time Post Graduate Degree, offered by IITs.At present  IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi (Department of Management Studies),  IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras,IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee  are offering the course in Management.

JMET is only an Entrance Test to seek admission. It is not necessary that candidate who are qualifying the entrance test, will be called for interview & Group discussion. Calling for such later process is on prerogative of the admitting institute.

The Entrance Test is an aptitude test, conducted by IITs & IISc annually in the month of December & comprises questions in Multiple Choice.

JMET 2009 : The question Paper consisted of Four Sections & one twenty questions.Each right answer have 1marks & each wrong answer have a negative .25 marks.The time Limit of Exam was 3 Hours.

JMET Online Registration 2010: Submission of data for online registration application starts on 7^th September 2009 (Monday).

Last date of submission online Registration application : 9^th October 2009 (Friday).

Date of Test : 13^th December 2009 (Sunday).

JMET2010 Fee for Application: Rs 750/-for General category.

Rs. 350/- for SC/ST/PD.

Candidate can apply by Core banking or Demand Draft
